CVOR Tech

Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program. BLS required. CST preferred but not required. Candidate must possess a minimum of current or very recent 2 years of Open-Heart experience. Excellent critical thinking and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required. The Surg Tech will be required to float/assist in General Surgery when CVOR volumes are low. The Surg Tech will work 40 hours/week, working either four (4) 10-hr days or five (5) 8-hour shifts (6a - 2:30p) per the traveler's preference. Surg Tech will take at least 2-3 days of call per week (dependent on staffing levels at the time). The weekend call starts at the time your shift ends on Friday and runs through Mondaymorning until 7a. There could be a possible holiday call rotation depending on how the holidays fall during the assignment.

Only one submission per traveler, per agency, per specialty is permitted. Travelers may not be submitted to multiple jobs with the same specialty (e.g., RN Med/Surg). Per updated BSA on 6.26.25 Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13 week contract. These hours are not limited to 12 hour shifts and will be marked on the facility time report ***Please Note -Your Agency s contract to your traveler MUST mirror the confirmation page. If your agency does not comply with this standard, your agency will be at risk of being removed from the Genesis Healthcare vendor set. No exceptions! Start Date Must be Identical. If your agency or the traveler does not include all RTO in the submission form and adds it post confirmation, your agency will be at risk of being removed from the Genesis Healthcare vendor set.
