PLEASE NOTE THAT THROUGH THE END OF JANUARY, CENTRA HAS APPROVED THE SUBMISSION OF FIRST-TIME TRAVELERS FOR THIS UNIT. *** Charge responsibility may be required, and the RN will receive the appropriate pay differential and training. ***  If your traveler is interested, we can offer up to 20 week long assignments to help ensure that the unit has adequate staffing to provide patient care during the holiday season.  Traveler must work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and/or New Years Day). Typical Nurse to Patient Ratio is 1:6. Patient Population within the unit is Med Surg/ Tele patients is a mix of all patient populations: GI Bleeds, COPD, CHF, Diabetes complications, ESRD, dementia, TIA/ Stroke, A-Fib, hypertension, sepsis, vascular issues, etc. Ancillary support (lab draws, EKGs, equipment availability): Phlebotomy, EKG techs, CNA, central materials for pumps/equipment, supply room on floor for most supplies. Submission Requirements = Work history with 2 years min. experience, explain all gaps over 90 days, Skills Checklist, Copy of Nursys/license. Medical Surgical LOCALS NOW ACCEPTED RATE 75 -Travelers float 1st and Travelers can be asked to float to sister campus VBH - IVS to Offer with limited RTO -All RTO must be in packet at time of submission. Client can cancel up to 36 hours per assignment due to census. Cerner Experience Preferred. Centra accepts approved declinations for Covid/Flu. Centra is a teaching hospital, and YOU will work and encounter students and new hires often. We expect all team members, including travelers, to contribute to a culture of support, particularly when interacting with students and new hires.Float Required: NoCertifications: BLS
