Day Description: New position requested

Requisition Comments and Notes: Orientation Dates: 10/19, 11/2 (Every other week on Mondays, unless posted otherwise). (Unit cannot accommodate or offer a block schedule. Must be flexible to work the schedule needs of the unit). Med Surg DRMU (Diabetic Renal Unit) RN - D35 for 12-hour Day Shift (7-7).  PLEASE NOTE THAT THROUGH THE END OF JANUARY, CENTRA HAS APPROVED THE SUBMISSION OF FIRST-TIME TRAVELERS FOR THIS UNIT. *** MUST DO CHARGE (as it is required for traveler to be a charge RN in this unit) and the RN will receive the appropriate pay differential and training. *** If your traveler is interested, we can offer up to 20 week long assignments to help ensure that the unit has adequate staffing to provide patient care during the holiday season.  Traveler must work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and/or New Years Day).  Position Description -  Med Surg DRMU (Diabetic Renal Unit) RN - assignments end on Saturday - 2/3 Weekends per month based on unit need - IVS to Offer with limited RTO - Client can cancel up to 36 hours per assignment due to census.

Required Upon Submission: - 2 yrs exp in relevant specialty - BLS Required ACLS Preferred - Teaching hospital/ Charge experience preferred -Active VA / Compact License required at time of submission - All RTO must be in packet at time of submission. - Centra accepts approved declinations for Covid/Flu.Centra is a teaching hospital and YOU will work and encounter students and new hires often.
