Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: o Outpatient unit, patients present 0900-1400. The main focus is group therapieso Groups at 1000 and 1100, possibly 1300 as well. Adults only.o 0900: Treatment issues groupo 1000/1100: Coping skills, cognitive skills, wellness groupo

Recovery group: Mental health and substance abuse recovery (no substance abuse services but will have many patients with dual diagnoses)

Patient Ratios: o Average group size anywhere from 2 9 patients

Required License, National Certification, Certs: o LMSW, GA state license. ORo LPC, GA state license ORo LAPC, GA state license o BLS required, but can get certified on-site during orientation if candidate does not have itio CPI, but will go through the class on site for full CP class

Skills required: o Comfortable and proficient with group therapies, deescalating, comfortable when recognizing a 1013 (involuntary holds) needs to be signed, strong team communication skills, going to weekly treatment team meetings and providing noteso Could be doing 1:1 interventions if patients need help deescalating, but will not have any scheduled 1:1 sessions
