Need Specifics: BACKFILL! 1 FT Day Shift opening for 13 weeks, ASAP START! Shift : 4X10 Hour Days 9:00am - 7:00pm. Schedule : Wednesday - Saturday, but the days are not set, must be flexible to facility needs. Must have ASCP or AMT cert at time of submission. Cerner is EMR, any color scrubs. Blood bank experience is a plus! Essential Job Responsibilities Adheres to UNIVERSAL PRECAUTIONS standards. Understand and comply with policies and procedures. Dependability & Responsibility (attendance, punctuality, follows instructions. Venipuncture skill. Performs Daily Quality Control & Daily Maintenance per guidelines. Completes testing in a timely, concise manner. Operation and Troubleshooting of Chemistry Analyzers. Operation and Troubleshooting UA Analyzer. Operation and Troubleshooting Hematology Analyzer. Operation and Troubleshooting Coag Analyzer. Blood Bank Testing (type, RH, Antibody Screening, compatibility testing, QC), Courtesy and Professional Conduct (patients, lab staff, physicians, other employees). Misc. Testing (serological/micro testing, microscopic, etc.). Communication (shares important information with co-workers, supervisor, fellow employees, physicians).
