This is a 40-bed Surgical Orthopedics Med-Surg unit at LBH Northwest Hospital The unit admits patients from the Emergency Department who meet admission criteria, including general medical patients The unit primarily cares for Med-Surg and post-operative patients Surgical populations include general surgery, orthopedics, bariatrics, plastics and urology General surgery cases include appendectomies, cholecystectomies, colorectal surgeries, small bowel obstructions, BKA and AKA Orthopedic cases include knee, hip and shoulder replacements, spine surgery and limb lengtheningAny additional experience requirements
