Daily Census: 6# beds on unit: 8Ratio: 1:2 CVICU/CCRU; if floated to IMC, ratio 1:3 (lower acuity)Patient Diagnoses: Cardiac Surgery- CABG, valve, cabg/valve, CAD- STEMI, NSTEMI, AFIB w RVR, cardiogenic shock; Vascular- peripheral bypasses, EVAR; Thoracic- VATSSpecial

Procedure/Unit Details: immediate post-op care for cardiac surgery patients; 1:1 for first 12 hours; vent management w/resp therapy;Flo Trac; CRRT; IABP; Impella; Groin/radial artery management (fem stop, TR bands)Weekends: every other weekend requiredHolidays: required as they fall, as scheduledFloating: required within the specialty, including IMC, and lower acuity as neededOn-Call: on-call scheduled shifts not requiredBackfill - D.
