UCH Med-Surg/Tele Float Pool & ED SurgeSupport the ED by caring for patients awaiting bed placement on an inpatient unit. When support is not needed in the ED, RN will float to other acute care units throughout the hospitalTotal

Staffed Beds: ED Hold = up to 30 beds; Inpatient Units = avg 36 bedsCharting: EpicRatios:Ratios: Day Shift = 4-5:1 (6:1 occasionally); Night Shift = 5-6:1 (7:1 occasionally)Scrub Color: NavySpecial Requirements: Epic experience required, Minimum 2 years of Acute Care experience; Surge Space or Float Pool experience preferred, Tele experienceContract Length: 13 weeksSpecial Requirements may be required to float to sister facilties within the metro regionNurse-to-patient ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs. While additional support is provided, candidates must be comfortable with and have prior experience working in environments with flexible staffing ratios if candidate resides within 75 miles of facility.
