Type of staff: Day Shift 4-6 RN depending on census. RN ratio 1:6 days and nights Night Shift - 4-6 RN depending on census. RN ratio 1:6 days and nights Patient Ratios -1:1 - 3:1 - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed Type of equipment remote tele EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Med/surg experience, Mom/baby experience with NRP preferred.

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. 1 year of current Hospital Med/Surg experience BLS Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Surgical and medical experience Excellent customer service skills List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Cholecystectomy, Appendectomy, medical management Best personality Fit: Outgoing with can do attitude and outstanding customer service skills Independent and confident in own skills and judgment. Often will work with one other RN or alone, resources available on the floor but not on the unit.
