Staffing depends on acuity.Night Shift same as abovePatient Ratios 1:1-4:1Type of equipment Level 3, oscillators, vents, bubble CPAP, central lines, 23 weeders, ABG machine, pump feeds, telemedicineEMR - MeditechTypical hiring profileSkill Set Most recruited for:(Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)Must have:candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital NICU RN experienceBLS & NRPLevel III or Level IV NICU experiencePreferred or nice to have:candidates with these skills will be considered first.Prior Meditech experiencePICU experiencePALSList typical procedures performed on unit(s):Circs, Pneumo taps, intubations, chest tubes (assist with level 3 procedures), no surgeries done at Rose NICU, No Nitric or no head/body cooling.PIV s, medication administration, giving blood, handoffs for communications.
