Ratios Duties: 2:15 - 2 nurse aids on days; 1 nurse aid on nights- Pediatrician in house 24/7: Not in house but on call for pediatric patients - peds are not managed by the hospitalist- RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides troubleshoot: We do not have vents on MSP; occasional bipap managed by RT primarily- Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit Are RNs required to read their own strips What brand are the tele monitors: ICU monitors teles, reads strips, etc. MSP nurses apply the tele to pt. - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling Block scheduling): 7-7 // self-scheduling- Weekend Requirement: As needed- Holiday Requirement: No requirement- Floating Requirements: ED/ICU for 1:1s as needed- Scrub

Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided: Navy blue- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: 1- 12 hour shift - or if needed one night and one day orientation- Additional Notes: Attributes that help a nurse be successful on this unit include communication, motivation, and approachability - absolutely and the ability to work well with others and be part of a team. Most importantly, ask questions when unsure. Documentation can be tricky at times.

Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.Updated: 2/26/2024

Cancellation Policy: Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks
