Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: o Could see any patient not requiring mechanical ventilation CHF, Dysrhythmia, Chest Pain work up, Stroke, Abdominal illnesses and infections, Respiratory illness, Diabetes, AKI/CKD, ETOH withdrawal, IVDA, etc.
Patient Ratios: o RN: 1:4 is most common; could possibly go to 1:5 depending on acuityo LPN (if applicable): 4:1
