Type of staff: Day Shift 1 charge (patient free), 1-3 PCTs (CNA s), occasionally a Clinical Nurse Coordinator as extra resource- typically 4 days a week Night Shift - 1 charge (patient free), 1-2 PCT s, occasionally a Clinical Nurse Coordinator as resource typically twice a week or as staffing allows. Patient Ratios Mixed care- step down patients (spinal fusions, chest tubes, high flow oxygen.
