Houston Healthcare Southeast Address: 4000 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX, 77504 Floor: 1st Building: General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds lab supports testing for 396 beds plus rehab hospital Number of Staff 5 techs for 12 hour day shift

Type of staff: o Day Shift 1 tech in each department plus 1 that floats between Hema and Chem, 3 phlebotomist, 1 lab assistant o Night Shift 4 techs, 2 phlebotomists, usually 1 lab assistant Patient Ratios Type of equipment 2 Siemens Atellica, 2 Sysmex XN3000 with slide stainer and cellavision, 2 ACL TOPs, 1 Arkray, 1 Ortho Vision, many misc equipment such as PFA and Sofia 2, limited micro EMR Meditech Expanse Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Work independently, troubleshoot instruments and QC, organization skills, multi-task Team player, punctual, escalate issues in real time, problem-solving under pressure Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Meditech Magic or Expanse experience Keeps busy by offering to help others List typical procedures performed on unit(s): STAT and routine testing performed on blood and other body fluid Best personality Fit: Keeping patient care first and understands the impact of their actions on others
