RN / Neuro OncRatios: 1:5Years of experience REQ: 2 Years Oncology Experience Required. Previous Charge Experience and Teaching Hospital Experience preferred.First-timers accepted: (Y/N) YesHoliday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed per unit.Weekend REQ: 8 weekend shifts in Saint Luke s 6-week schedule period, combination of F/S/S.Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? yes, Regular floating may be required between departments, units and facilities as needed.Certs REQ: BLSSkills REQ: IV

Therapy/ Infusions: Administration of coagulation factors, Antifungals, Antivirals, Blood/Blood product administration, Care and management of ports, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Infusion pump management, Intravenous. Medications: Antibiotic, Antiemetic, Corticosteroids.

Oncologic Emergencies: Sepsis.

Psychosocial Care: Advanced directives, Patient/Family education and support.

Symptom management: Alteration in skin and mucous membranes, Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea, Dysphagia, Edema, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy.

Professional Knowledge and Skills: Chest tube care and management, Colostomy care and management, Foley catheter insertion/management, Isolation Precautions, Neutropenic precautions, Telemetry Interpretation, Telemetry monitoring, Wound care.

Pain Management: IV push narcotic agents, Medication tolerance/dependence, assessment, PCA pump management, Transdermal patches. Surgery: Post surgical care.

Skills Preferred: IV

Therapy/ Infusions: Accessing Ports.

Oncologic Emergencies: Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS), Anaphylaxis, Extravasation injury, Hemorrhage.

Psychosocial Care: Hospice care, Withholding/withdrawing treatment.
