About Facility Location: Elgin, IL Level II Trauma Center Magnet designation Primary Stroke Center 255 Beds AAH will require the Covid vaccine.

General Information Scanners: 2 Experience: 1 year First-time traveler: Yes

Patient Types: Inpatient/Outpatient/ER: all scans are done in the ED; approximately 25-30% are peds (peds experience preferred) Required: general anatomy, stroke alerts, CTA perfusion studies, chest, abdomen, pelvis, head Preferred: coronary studies (TAVRs); Procedural: biopsies, drains

Patient Ratios: 1:1

Required Certifications: Required: BLS,

ARRT Preferred: ARRT-CT Skills required General CT experience in a hospital setting, experience with the above patient types, IV starts Experience with GE Revolution HD Ability to work independently & in a fast-paced, team environment. Support on the Unit: Other CT techs; traveler will be working alone on night shift RRT/Code Blue team Transport available for inpatient scans; CT tech will transport ED patients Rad tech also often available for transport assistance

Alaris IV Pumps Pyxis Floating: None Orientation: At least one shift on the unit to learn flow Scheduling: Weekend rotation: every other Can we approve time off

Manager to approve all

RTO On call: Yes overnight, 2x a month (could be weekends)
