Float Requirements: Critical Care Unit, CVICU overflow, Critical Care Step-Down, Med-Surg

Additional Notes: Home unit would be CCU but will float 1st if needed in CVICU or CCSD. Can be floated to med-surg departments if critical care areas are staffed.Unit Information: Number of Beds: CCU- 22, CVICU- 14 (varies up and down depending on surgeries/ICU overflow), CCSD- 31

Patient Ratios: CCU- 1:2, 1:3; CVICU- 1:2, 1:3; CCSD- 1:4, 1:5; Med-surg- 1:6 Equipment: SpaceLabs bedside monitoring with continuous ECG, O2, Respiratory, BP, CVP, and PA monitoring, Baxter/Spectrum IV pumps, Kangaroo feeding pumps, Hill-Rom critical care beds, Ventilators (Variety), Prismaflex CRRT machines, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, Blanketrols, Arctic Sun, Rapid-Transfusion, Fluid warming, and Zoll monitoring.
