OT rate: Same Rate PAY OT AFTER 8 HOURS/DAY AND AFTER 40 HOURS/WEEK 4x10's PAY OT after 8 hours/day. (RC = 32 reg hours. 8 OT hours) BILL OT after 40 hours/week. The Medical Technologist II performs and evaluates various laboratory tests on patient specimens providing data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease, and provides supervision for designated areas of the laboratory. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Sysmex 4000 and 1000, Rapidlabs, Ortho 5600, Vitros eCI, Vitros 350, Sysmex 1500, GenExpert, Advanced Instrument Micro Osmometer, Meditech Magic with micro and blood bank modules, Gel tube blood banking, Roche U411, StratusRequired skills and minimum years of experience.Min 2 years recent experienceSpecific licensures and certifications/registrations required. Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Laboratory Technologist MLT/MT(ASCP or AMT), BLS requiredShift or schedule requirements. 10 hour and variable shift lengths, may work alone, no call, possible weekendsDress Code:Scrubs - not provided, lab coats and PPE providedDepartment specific training and orientation program.Orientation to each piece of processing equipment, Meditech training.
