Night Description: Requisition

Comments and Notes: Orientation Dates: 11/16, 11/30 (Every other week on Mondays, unless posted otherwise).  Cardiac IMCU/Step Down - C32 , 12H Nights.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THROUGH THE END OF JANUARY, CENTRA HAS APPROVED THE SUBMISSION OF FIRST-TIME TRAVELERS FOR THIS UNIT. *** Charge responsibility may be required, and the RN will receive the appropriate pay differential and training. ***  If your traveler is interested, we can offer up to 20 week long assignments to help ensure that the unit has adequate staffing to provide patient care during the holiday season.  Traveler must work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and/or New Years Day).   Submission Requirements = Work history with 2 years min. experience in similar setting, explain all gaps in work history over 90 days, Skills Checklist, Copy of Nursys/license. All REQUESTED TIME OFF must be in packet at time of submission. Centra accepts approved declinations for Covid/Flu. LOCALS NOW ACCEPTED RATE 75 . Travelers float first depending on needs. Active VA/Compact License required upon start. Cerner preferred - Vital signs machine, glucometer, SCDs, bladder scanner, vein finder, remote tele capable, wound vacs, IV pumps, pulse oximeters, chest tubes, tube feeding pumps (Kangaroo), and oxygen delivery devices. - Patient Population (Diagnoses): cardiac CIMU acuity level patients. For recruitment purposes - Start dates Occur every Other Monday. client requires all credentialing submitted 1 week prior to start. No local traveler under 60 miles will be accepted. Client can cancel up to 36 Hours per assignment due to census. Centra is a teaching hospital and YOU will work and encounter students and new hires often.
