Surgical Tech

Position / Specialty: OR TechShift: 5x8Hr(1500-2300) Avg.

Daily Census: 50-60 cases/day.Years of experience REQ: Minimum 3 years' experience required.First-timers accepted: No.Weekend REQ: Yes- Weekends are once a month with a total of 16 hours of obligation.Certs REQ: BLS required, CST preferred.Is on-call REQ

License accepted: N/A- no license required for this role.RTO Restrictions: Discuss RTO with manager - all time off must be reviewed and approved by manager.-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.

Special Requirements: Must be in IL 3 business days prior to compliance HDD in order to meet fingerprinting requirements.

Required Work Setting Experience: General OR, Teaching Hospital, Trauma. Required Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT)

Case Skills/Experience: Direct Laryngoscopy, Radial neck dissection, Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, Tracheostomy.

Required Endoscopic Procedure Skills/Experience: Colonoscopy, EGD, Peg tube placement/exchange.

Required General Surgery Skills/Experience: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection - Open/LAP, Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Mastectomy, Thyroidectomy partial/total.
