Pending License Accepted: Yes, only if the candidate holds a single-state license from a non-compact state. Otherwise, submission must include an active Virginia State or Compact RN/LPN license.REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS======================== Experience in Tele, PCU, DOU, IMC, and stepdown settings Proficient in cardiac monitoring & emergency response, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response and Code teams, and administration of cardiac drips (Cardizem, Heparin, Insulin, low-dose dopamine/dobutamine, Amiodarone, Nitro, Bumex, Lasix) with no titration IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and central/peripheral line care Competency in chest tubes, trach care, PICC line management, and medication administration Respiratory skills (nasal cannula, oxygen administration, CPAP, BiPAP, and non-invasive airway management)UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING========================== Ratios: 1:4 5 (Goal ratio is 4:1; mostly 5:1) Telemetry is remote, but monitors remain on the unit. Tele-sitting is implemented to provide additional Patient Care Tech support.
