Respiratory Therapist

Shift (0630-1900), Three twelve hour shifts weekly (36 hours), No guarantee of hours. Description: Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer.Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.Proof of flu vaccination or facility approved application for medical or religious exception will be required prior to contract start date. Ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support. Physician consulting, CPR, all aspects of respiratory care.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: Computerized charting, Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840Ventilators. V60.Para Pac Transport Vent. Required skills and minimum years of experience:Must be able to care for patients of the adult, pediatric, neonatal populations. Minimum 2 years experienceNo first assignments.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required:RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS with NRP preferred, State of Hawaii respiratory therapist license. Current Hawaii license preferred, but willing to take with application already submitted forHawaii license.

Additional Information: Must arrive the Thursday before start in order to go to employee health appointment on Friday. Please do not accept the start date offered if they cannot be there on time.
