Assignment Details Emergency Room RNSchedule: 3x12s or 4x12s Every other weekend, floating, and holidays within the contract are required48-hour contracts are available with overtime billed after 48 hours please indicate the candidate's preference at the time of submission.

Patient Ratios Typical ratio: 1:4May increase to 1:6 when caring for Medical-Surgical hold patientsStroke patients are assigned 1:1 until admitted or through the tPA treatment windowSTEMI and cardiac arrest patients are also assigned 1:1No psychiatric patients. Minimum Requirements Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department experiencePrevious travel experience requiredActive Virginia or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission; no exceptionsMust be proficient in Epic; no exceptions Required Certifications BLS (American Heart Association only)ACLS (American Heart Association only)PALS (American Heart Association only)NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)TNCC Compliance Requirements Chesapeake will not consider candidates with any license or background hits.
