Intensivist in house: Yes - they are in house 24/7 Sound Physician group - IV Team: No - RT 24/7: Yes- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes - Shifts: 0645-1915/1845-0715 - 12 hr shifts, no self scheduling - Floating: Yes- to Tele & ER for ICU Holds- Floor specific orientation: 1 day of orientation on ICU and one shifts on the Tele/stepdown unit - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: (PACU patients will go directly to ICU) Cardiac, PCI, Open Heart, Sepsis, ETOH, Stroke, CABG, stents, balloon pumps, cath lab ( some- most of them will recover on the DOU unit), craniotomies, travlers are not assigned fresh open heart or crani's - they do not have to have experience in that area, general medical surgical ICU nurses are needed, 3 years minimum experience, unless coming from a big institution with 2+ years experience, prior travel experience preferred - Additional Notes: Big on patient satisfaction - travel nurses must be skilled, competent, but also compassionate about their patient care

Cancellation Policy: Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13 week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks
