Boerne Emergency Center are: chest pain, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, extremity injuries, fever, motor vehicle accidents, back pain, pregnancy complaints, skin infections, animal bites, pediatric illness and lacerations.Methodist Boerne Emergency Center s compassionate team of medical professionals works to stabilize critical patients experiencing the following: acute myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, stroke, subarachnoid bleed, trauma (including amputations), overdose, spinal cord injuries, cardiac arrhythmias, seizures, pulmonary embolus and pneumothorax. After stabilization, the patient is transported to a Methodist hospital in San Antonio.The Methodist Boerne Emergency Center exceeds national standards for rapid evaluation and treatment in emergency cardiac cases, with impressive times between a patient's arrival, evaluation, travel time to San Antonio and having an angioplasty.Emergency Center HighlightsFreestanding emergency center; full-service; 24/7, 365 days? 15 treatment rooms:Two trauma/cardiac care roomsFive emergency/treatment roomsFour fast-track non-urgent treatment rooms for minor emergenciesFour observation beds designed for monitoring 24-hour observation stay
