Ratios Duties: Yes, 1:12- RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot: High flow- Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit Are RNs required to read their own strips What brand are the tele monitors: RNs must read and interpret- Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1830, 1830-0630 / - Weekend Requirements: Every other- Holiday Requirements: minimum of 2 holidays that fall within contract time frame- Floating Requirements: Yes to MedSurg or to ICU to take PCU acuity patients- Scrub

Color/Dress code: Navy Blue- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: 1 day- Additional Notes: Overhead lifts in half the rooms, portable lifts, vein finders, bladder scanner, Focus on patient experience scores, responsiveness, hospital environment, and communication about medications, Looking for someone who is flexible and willing to learn as well as take feedback along the wayA nurse on this unit is successful if they are a team player, are flexible and adaptable, and have good communication skills, Different cultural populations are served on this unit- primarily Hispanic and SomalianRTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract).
