Ratios Duties: No- RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot: Nasal cannula to vent- Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit Are RNs required to read their own strips What brand are the tele monitors: RN required to read and interpret- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling Block scheduling): 7-7 // director makes schedule- Weekend Requirements: Will work where there is a need- Holiday Requirements: Will work where there is a need- Floating Requirements: MS or ER (for 1:1)- Scrub Color: Navy- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: 3- 12 hour shifts- Additional Notes: Attributes that make a nurse successful in this unit include coachability, motivation, ability to understand and coach unsafe situations, and team workRadius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract).
