Pending License Accepted: Yes, only if the candidate holds a single-state license from a non-compact state. Otherwise, submission must include an active Virginia State or Compact RN/LPN license.REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS=======================ACLS / BLS / NIHSSREQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS======================== Previous Neuro experience required. Large L1/L2 facility experience required Proficient in cardiac monitoring & emergency response, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response and Code teams IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and central/peripheral line care, Accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, PICC line management. Medications: Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade ,Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Titrate Cardiac and Vasoactive drips Neuro: CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drain (EVD), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, Lumbar drains, Post Craniotomy, Post Neurosurgery management

Respiratory skills: Assist with management of BiPAP/CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator ManagementUNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING========================== Ratios: 1:2

Patient Diagnoses: Stroke, Neurosurgery, Neuro specific diagnosis, Complex spine

Special Procedures: EVDs,
