Traveler Competency ExamSkills Required: General

ED experience: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV skills, and basic ED knowledge of drips and med administration, procedural sedation, blood administration, cardiac medicationsEPIC experience requiredSupport on the Unit:ER tech glucose checks, assisting with splintingCharge nurse: rarely takes an assignment Resource/Float Nurse (pending staffing)RT -24/7ED EducatorSecurity for safety 24/7House Supervisor 24/7Pharmacy 24/7: assists in codesCharting System/Equipment:EMR: Epic requiredIV Pumps: AlarisMedication dispensing system: PyxisCentral and bedside Telemetry monitoring at the nursing station; no tele techFloating:Could float regularly between TG and Allenmore Hospital (8 minutes apart) EDs.
