YesPatient Types/Common Diagnoses: Adults onlyPre/post surgeries: gallbladder, appendectomies, colorectal, colon, G-tube, hernia repairs, bariatric (gastric sleeves and bypasses)In office procedures: I/D for abscess, colorectal scopes (MAs will assist)Will be assigned to specific providers and follow themRequired License, National Certification, Certs:BLSSkills required:Mostly in-basket management: phone triaging, med refills, answering portal questions, FMLA and prior auth paperwork, could assist with rooming patients (vitals, med rec, medical history, etc.), pre/post-surgery educationAmbulatory EPIC experience requiredSupport within the Department:MAsOther RNsWork with multiple different general surgery providers (will rotate through clinics)APPsManager/Supervisor sometimes on sight but available via phonePatient Service Reps to check patients inSurgery scheduler to schedule patient s surgeriesTechnology/Equipment:EMR: Ambulatory EPIC - requiredFloating: If yes, where?Will float to Good Hope Clinic, East Mequon Clinic, Port Washington ClinicWill know in advance which facility they would be scheduled atFarthest they would float is about 20 minutes awayOrientation (facility and unit):NEOUp to 5 days of department orientationScheduling:Weekend rotation: NoneOn call
