PM Description: TRAVELER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELF-STUDYING TELEMETRY STRIPS UPON ACCEPTANCE AND A BASIC DYSRHYTHMIA TEST OUT WILL BE GIVEN DURING ORIENTATION. THIS MUST BE PASSED IN ORDER TO WORK IN OUR EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT. The Emergency Room RN is responsible for identifying patient needs and priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Care Setting. Is able to triage safely, rapidly and accurately, every patient that enters the emergency care system. RN s coordinate care between other professional disciplines as needed.Epic EMR experience in a like unit with the last twelve (12) months required.While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, the traveler is expected to be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour.

Unit Description: Every other weekend rotation, every other holiday. A Basic Dysrhythmia test out will be given first week of assignment. This must be passed in order to work in our Emergency Department. EPIC, ACLS, PALS, TNCC,
