Certified MLS through ASCP or equivalent At least 2 years working in a Hospital Laboratory environment as an MLT or MLSPreferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Experience with EPIC Some experience with analyzers listed aboveList typical procedures performed on unit(s): Daily maintenance, QC, calibrations on analyzers and patient testing. This includes waived and nonwaived tests. Specimen processing including ordering tests, centrifuging specimens, preparing send outs for transport as needed, stalking lab supplies, and routine cleaning of lab surfaces.Best personality Fit: One who can work and communicate professionally with both lab and non-lab individuals. For the most part this person works by themselves, but they do have to interface with the clinical staff of the ED.REQUIRED
