Submissions without hospital experience will not be considered.Travel RN Respiratory Med-Surg 3 EastUnit: 21-Bed Respiratory Med-SurgShift: 36 hrs/week | 7:00PM - 7:30AM | Every other weekend requiredJob Overview:We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced, 21-bed Respiratory Med-Surg unit that specializes in the care of pulmonary diseases. This high-acuity unit manages a complex patient population, including those requiring continuous telemetry monitoring. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with rapid patient turnover and varying levels of care needs.Key Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse population of adult respiratory and medical-surgical patientsMonitor and interpret cardiac telemetryCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomesFloat as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units such as Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders.Qualifications:Active Ohio RN licenseCurrent BLS certification requiredMinimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experienceProven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips (competency test required on Day 1; failure of competency is grounds for immediate termination)EMR: Proficiency with Epic EMR is mandatory(no training or refreshers provided; lack of Epic proficiency is grounds for immediate termination)Additional Details:No on-call requirementMust be adaptable, efficient, and able to thrive in a high-volume settingEpic proficiency must be clearly documented in referral submissionCandidates must meet all requirements at submission

Additional Information: Duplicate submissions will not be accepted. Only one submission per traveler, per agency, per specialty is permitted. Travelers may not be submitted to multiple jobs with the same specialty (e.g., RN Med/Surg). Per updated BSA on 6.26.25 Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13 week contract. These hours are not limited to 12 hour shifts and will be marked on the facility time report ***Please Note -Your Agency s contract to your traveler MUST mirror the confirmation page. If your agency does not comply with this standard, your agency will be at risk of being removed from the Genesis Healthcare vendor set. No exceptions! Start Date Must be Identical. End Date Must be Identical. RTO Must be identical ***Please Note - All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission and added into the confirmation page for it to be honored. If your agency or the traveler does not include all RTO in the submission form and adds it post confirmation, your agency will be at risk of being removed from the Genesis Healthcare vendor set. No exceptions!
