Type of staff: o Day Shift varies depending on scheduled procedures/surgical cases between 6-8 RN s o Night Shift 24 hour call coverage call normally begins at 9:30pm -7:30am Mon-Fri. Sat/Sun 24 hour Patient Ratios per CPAN Guidelines Type of equipment GE patient monitors, stryker and hillrom beds EMR - expanse Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. PACU and PACU pedi experience Level II or higher Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. ICU experience ER experience CPAN List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Pedi-adult all cases from lumpectomies, tubes, tonsils to open heart surgery Including Trauma Best personality Fit: Upbeat, flexible, compassionate, patient focused, team player, willing to help as needed

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: ACLS, BLS, PALS Floating Area(s): Endo, SDC if needed.

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Call requirement is 30-minute response which includes being dressed and ready to accept patient in the PACU Weekends and On call(if any) Call Frequency is once a week Monday thru Thursday, one Friday every 5 weeks, 2 24-hour weekend shifts in a 5-week schedule. The unit does self-schedule with the nurse leader moving staff as needed to cover the unit. General Comments Position creation reason:Vacant
