Length/Shift Details: 3x12s, 645p-715a Charting: EPIC experience required Floating: Staffing needs are Re-evaluated every 4 hours, so traveler could float 2-3 times per shift (up to every 4 hours)

Weekend Requirement: May be EOW or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block

Otherwise, submission must include an active Virginia State or Compact RN/LPN licenseREQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS========================= Experienced in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood product administration Skilled in central line care, trach management, and non-invasive airway support including nasal cannula, CPAP/BiPAP, and chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac) Proficient in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, titrating cardiac drips, and responding to emergencies via Rapid Response/Code teams Capable of managing PCA and heparin protocols, administering IV insulin, and handling endocrine/metabolic conditions Background includes telemetry and stepdown-level care (PCU/DOU/IMC), with cardiovascular experience in pre/post cardiac cath settingsUNIT DETAILS============== PCU average ratio: 5:1 | MS average ratio: 6:1 (May flex up to 7:1)HOSPITAL HIGHLIGHTS====================Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital is a 703-bed acute care teaching hospital and the flagship facility of Carilion Clinic.
