General Medical/Surgical patients. 15 bed unit that takes patients who are ready to be discharged from the ER but have not been assigned to a specific unit yet. Perform initial admissions and care for patient until they go to their new unit. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Epic. Zebra phones for communication. Omnicell for medications. Aleris IV pumpsRequired skills and minimum years of experience.Medical/Surgical Experience. Level I Trauma Center experience. 2+ years of medical/surgical experience. Epic experience. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS - must be AHA Shift or schedule requirements.12 hour shifts (0700-1930 or 1900-0730). Every other weekend and every other holiday. No call. Floating to over units/departments. Yes, will float to other medical/surgical units as needed.
