Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.Patient Age group Adults GeriatricsFirst time travelers: YesPatient DiagnosesThe most common diagnosis of patients include Oncologic Emergencies, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), pneumonia, Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), Gastrointestinal bleed, neuromuscular disease, drug overdose, consequences of oncologic treatment, pulmonary hypertension, autoimmune disorders and sepsis.Special Procedures/Unit DetailsCommon treatments for these hemodynamically compromised patients include mechanical ventilation, pulmonary artery catheter placement, CRRT, arterial pressure monitoring, cardiac monitoring, chest tubes, central venous catheters, chemotherapy administration, complex medication regimens, clinical trials and plasmapheresis. Many patients have underlying pulmonary and gastrointestinal conditions requiring bronchoscopy or endoscopy.Certifications

Parking Details: Parking is available in West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3, approximately 1.7 miles from OSU Wexner Medical Center. The Pink Shuttle runs every 3 5 minutes during peak times and reaches the medical center in approximately 8 9 minutes. Weekend garage access is available from Friday at 2:00 p.m. through Monday at 8:00 a.m. Outside those hours, regular hourly garage rates apply.Refund Information: Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits. Current and prior months are not refundable. Cancel by 6:30 p.m. on the last business day of the month to avoid the next charge.
