Deliveries per month: About 200Skills required: Independent IV starts and lab draws from IV start, accurate vaginal exams, provide labor support, fetal monitor strip interpretation according to NICHD guidelines, strong ability to multi-task, communicate, comfortable with asking questions, and easily adapts to a new unit. We typically do not assign travelers to the triage role and do not require them to circulate unless they have previous experience.
