Tech Ortho/Neuro/Spine

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: ASAP

: 40 hrs

Primary Location: Aspirus

Wausau Hospital Shift Requirements: variable

Days Float Requirements: May be required to float to Aspirus Merrill, Antigo, Medford or Stanley if needed. On Call/Call-Back: 6-8 nights of weeknight call and 1 -2weekend during the 13 week contract. 30 min response time meaning traveler must be ready and in the OR within that 30 min. Ortho/Neuro/Spine Crani cases are a must for call. Must be strong in totals. Weekend/Holiday: Weekend for call only.

Required Certifications: BLS, CST license REQURED NBSTSA or NCCT is accepted(Aspirus requires AHA or ARC certifications)

Required Education: Knowledge of surgical standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from a surgical technologist program and four or more years of related experience in the operating room.Graduate of a certified surgical technologist program REQUIRED.

Minimum Experience: 4+ year experience REQUIRED. PRIOR TRAVEL EXPERIENCE REQUIIRED. *Trauma level II experience REQUIRED. Traveler must have their own vehicle and can not rely on Uber/Lyft due to on call responsibilities. Charting/Equipment: NA
