Speech language Pathologist

Speech therapists develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive and communication abilities, and to decrease aspirations. Communication treatment plans may include techniques that not only help the individual to be better understood, but also to help them better understand others.Leads, guides and directs the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in the facility in accordance with local, state and federal regulations, standards and established facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate care and services to residents.

Submission requirements: 2 years SLP experience - (required)TX License or compact - (required)Please note: we do not need references at time of submission: Therapy travelers are expected to proactively build and manage their caseloads using available patient referrals and treatment opportunities while meeting the facility s productivity expectations. , but the facility cannot provide sufficient patient volume or treatment opportunities to fulfill those hours. If a treatment session is missed or shortened, the traveler is expected to make reasonable efforts to reschedule or complete the remaining treatment when clinically appropriate and consistent with the patient s plan of care, tolerance, and availability. Any barriers to completing treatment should be communicated to the facility s leadership. Staffing agencies must review these expectations with their clinicians before submission.
