Day Description: Requisition:This is to fill Danai's position since she terminated her contract this morning. Client:Located in the heart of Nebraska, Columbus Community Hospital (CCH) is a community-owned, not-for-profit hospital in Columbus, NE, that brings top-level health care close to home. The people of Platte County and the surrounding counties appreciate the opportunity to see both primary care providers and specialists without needing to travel to a larger city.CCH is led by a local board of directors, and the hospital has a staff that includes a president/CEO, five vice presidents, a medical staff of more than 50 active members and more than 900 employees. It also has the support of more than 260 volunteers. Location:Level 3

Trauma Facility Department: 4 OR suites, plus additional rooms for minor procedures. Staff work really well together and with surgeons in the OR.

Specialty Profile: Rural hospital RN nees to be proficient in ortho cases. Facility has visiting physicians that hold clinic for ENT, Ortho, etc. RN will circulate OBGYN including C-sections, ORTHO, General, Urology, ENT. Since it is a small department, RN may assist with turning rooms and cleaning. OR RN will sit in PACU on callback cases as second set of hands. (Does not recover the patient, only assists as 2nd RN in recovery period)REQUIREMENTS: 3-4 years of experience as an OR RN; Need to be very comfortable with total joint cases; Must have prior travel experience.HCPs are required to take MOAB if they don t already have CPI or MOAB. The cost is $150 and is offered on site. Brief hospital orientation to obtain badge and review hospital policies and procedures and then will report to department where the RN will be checked off on competencies.Scrubs: Hospital provided
