Nights Description: Unit Notes:OSF

Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift- Non-billable

Orientation Hours: 12 hours, : 7-10 patients/PCT-days; 10-15 patients/PC-nights. PCT's assist with vitals, accu checks, ADL's, turning and ambulation.- RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, Bipap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot: No vents. Cpap and high flow. RT manages nebs, RN's manage inhalers and can place patients on CPAP.- Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit Are RNs required to read their own strips What brand are the tele monitors: Yes, some patients are on telemetry, Phillips monitor, bedside RNs do not read strips, there is a central station for monitor techs. - Shifts & Scheduling: 0700-1930 for days and 1930-0730 for nights. Will consider block scheduling, must be aprroved at time of contract. Travelers do not self schedule.- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday is the weekend shift.- Holiday Requirement: Yes, rotate every other holiday.- Is there Call or a

Standby requirement: No.- Floating Requirements: Travelers are the 1st to float. Will float to unit with same level of experience. If an ICU RN floats to general unit, they take a team of 3 patients.- Scrub
