Sterile Processing Tech

(3rd Shift)= 6: 00am-6:30pm Friday-Sunday, with occasional scheduled Holidays. May be required to float to other locations.We are seeking candidates who are experienced with all areas of the department, which include: Decontamination of all items (Drills, Davinci, scopes, Assembly of all instruments in all service lines (Trauma, loaners, peel packaging included) Sterilization process (sterrad and steam) HLD/ Scope experience Sterile Storage OR Liaison experience Censitrac Tracking system experienceWill accept either CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA, formerly IAHCSMM).OSU is a Level One trauma facility that is extremely busy and requires 3+ years of experience in a facility similar to OSU.Traveler Eligibility Requirements- Previous permanent employees are not eligible.-Travelers may extend their assignment for up to one year at OSU.-Travelers who reach the one-year assignment limit are not eligible for further extensions or future return assignments.- Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility are not eligible.WMC Agency Permit (Most Convenient Option)-24/7 access to Wexner Medical Center Garage (guaranteed availability)-$224.80/month-$748.58 per 100-day permitWB Permit (Budget Option)SPT Candidate Eligibility Restrictions-Previous permanent staff and return travelers are not eligible.-Travelers who reach the one-year max contract limit are not eligible for extensions or future assignments.-Candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of the care site address are not eligible.
