Detailed Description: A. EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferredCurrent AHA BLS, Chemotherapy Certification requiredActive, unencumbered Hawaii RN license required to applyOCN strongly desired but not requiredAll licenses and certifications must be valid at the time of application submission through the duration of the initial contract B. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 2+ years staff RN experience in Ambulatory OncologyMust have inpatient chemotherapy administration experience and ambulatory nursing experience (for non-oncology patients)The nurse selected for this position should have both oncology experience and chemotherapy certification as well as general ambulatory clinic experienceAt times, the oncology RN will mix chemotherapeutic agents to be administered after counter checking with another RN-- THE ONCOLOGY RN SHOULD BE COMFORTABLE MIXING IV MEDICATIONS AND PERFORMING DOSE CALCULATIONS C. OTHER Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date.
